No pain - no glory

Never before did I realise just how true this saying was!!!! until we did our first camino in 2006. After the damage to both my feet my husband, Chris, and myself were adamant that we would never do this again but the camino has a way of getting into your blood. We packed our bags again in 2008 and 2009 doing the French and Portugues Caminos. We are now planning to do the coastal route in Portugal in 2011 and no, my feet still won't work with me although we have tried each and every advice given, hiking boots etc. etc. It still won't dampen our enthusiam for the spirit of the camino.
